Reviews for Crown Automotive 52005350KE Rear Drum Brake Service Kit for 90-00 Jeep Wrangler YJ & TJ and Cherokee XJ & Comanche MJ
This fit my 98 Cherokee Sport perfectly. Easy install besides the old pads. Complete kit, missing zero parts. Thanks quadratic
Put these on my Chrysler 8.25 and they work good
I just ordered them. I do not know yet.
Works as described. Good price.
Everything was here for my 92 YJ. It took a while to get it installed right.... many tried. Drum brakes are voodoo. This was a helpful video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70cB-plCF-g&t=456s&ab_channel=BleepinJeep
A picture how proper installation would be would be nice.
Exactly what I needed for 8.25 rear axle. Installation was easy enough and went together well. Was a tight fit but after some adjustment, the drums spun with the correct amount of resistance.
I was replacing my front rotors and pads and figured I’d treat the rear brakes to an overhaul as well. Great kit and great stopping power.
Install was straight forward enough, even though drum brakes suck. One drum was a real sucker to get back on, makes me wonder if some of the pads are over sizes or if the casting was a little thick but we made it work.
I thought this would a complete kit. This does not come with new adjusters or adjuster plates as other kits do. In all fairness they are not pictured but this was my first drum rebuild job so I didn't know what to look for. I purchased the wheel cylinders separately and would have also purchased the adjuster kit if I knew that. I could get over adjusters but the adjuster springs are not included in a spring kit? I used the old ones. IF you want a complete rebuild your better off going with another product, or be prepared to get new wheel cylinders, and adjuster kits.
