Reviews for Lynx 1.5" Wheel Spacer Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
put these on in 20 minutes and my 35" tires now do not rub when i turn. great quality and east install.
Great look! Just remember to order 2 pair! Watch the install video and make sure you have a torque wrench. I would definitely put these on every Jeep I get. (I only have 2 so far.)
Good buy for the money.
No problems so far.
worth every penny -well made and so easy to install !!!!! stops that oversized tire growl when in a full turn.
This install took a bit of time. 1 wheel at a time and there was no clips to remove. I had some issues with the first wheel reinstall, but then afterwards it was easier when I finished the first wheel. My rims were after-market and I had to determine where the lugs lined up from wheel to spacer. I also purchased a torque wrench from Lowe's to get the lugs torqued. I can tell the difference in visual from stock to spacers. Good purchase.
Won't know until I install them
Great spacers. Hub centric. 6061-T6 aluminum. Not sure if they're made in the US.
I've had my spacers for a little over a year with no issues until now. They were always installed with thread locker and torqued to 2017 JKU vehicle specs every time I had a wheel off or had to remove them.
It was time for rear brakes and rotors. Nine of the 10 nuts came off, some we're crazy hard to remove but one would not budge. 24in breaker bar or impact using only a 6 point socket wouldn't move and it broke two name brand sockets. Soaked with penetrating oil, tried heat, eventually the nut gave out and rounded.
I bought an emergency lug nut remover which I thought was gonna work but it too snapped.
I tried drilling it, broke several drill bits. I bought a air chisel, it broke and even with 4 of the 5 nuts removed it was still holding tight. It beat me, I gave up and paid a friend at an exhaust shop to hit it with more heat and an air chisel with a little more ass in it.
I had to put in a new wheel stud but obviously the spacer is toast.
I will never install spacers again on my vehicle. I believe it was installed and reinstalled correctly even though they have a 3yr limited warranty. Not sure I could get anything out of Quadratec after destroying one to get it off. Didn't have much choice!
Sucks having 3 to put in the garbage and waste nearly $200. Would I recommend, NO!
