Reviews for Magnum by Raptor Series RT Steps for 18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
Just installed them on my rubicon. Directions could have been better but figured it out. Seem to be decent quality for the price and we’ll find out this winter how they hold up. I feel like the steps could have been configured closer to the rear, we have to open the door almost all the way in order to use them in the garage and that’s not always possible.
Took a little longer than we thought to install but was very happy with the end result.
Heavy duty and adds a great look to my new Jeep!
Happy with the product we have so far. The install took about 3 hours due to a couple issues with the product (one metal piece not fully punched out and another hardware error, both correctable with a bit of extra time). Be advised however... if you ordered the steps with lights, the lights do not come with the initial shipment. Emailed Quadratec who got back to me the next day stating the lights come from the manufacturer and will take a couple of weeks to ship. Hoping they are easy to add and we do not have to remove the steps we just installed to add the lights.
The steps are good. I had a dealer owe me work so they installed them for me. Wished we would of not wasted our money on the lights. We already have 3 of the 4 hanging down. They need to come up with a better way to attach them. Other then that happy with the product
They look great but after running them for the last four years, I’m done. They were a pain to get lined up and install and now they’re rusting. I would not recommend them
The paint on these steps is garbage. After one winter with many washes to keep the salt off they were already spot rusting. After two winters they are ready for the dumpster. Quadratec really should pull this product from their site as it's a very flawed product. Looked good for the first couple months, but made the jeep look like it wasn't kept up with all the rust.
Love the look of these steps and received many compliments. I physically cant 4wheel due to totalling my last jeep so the steps went through no offroad situations and garage kept. All the step plates have rusted badly and the company considers them part of the finish so the warranty ran out after a year. Extremely disappointed.
A little over two months on, no salt on roads and ALREADY rusting out. BEWARE.
