Reviews for Crown Automotive Heavy Duty Leaf Spring for 84-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ
Heavy duty
E-Z to install , wore out was at 17" riding on the coil springs , Now 20" not even touching the overload coils , Nice
Great springs for someone who doesn’t want to mess around with sye kits and for someone who is going to tow or add a lot of weight. They lifted my rear about 2.5 inches over stock. Paired with 1 3/4 pucks for the front for me level. Good build quality and stuffer over stock.
Gave my rear ride height a HUGE boost from my sagging stock leafs. After settling my rear is sitting at a comfortable 19" from center of wheel (2" lift from stock height).
Springs are built very well. Easy to install. Paired with the TOMKEN HEAVY DUTY SHACKLES from QUADRATEC and I have raised the rear of my 98 XJ about 3.0 inches above factory. Excellent ride quality. Bushings (sold separately) press in easily with hydraulic press. Thanks again to the outstanding sales and service at QUADRATEC!
Excellent quality. A little stiff. These are the actual HD springs. Some might find the ride harsh. But they are great as load carriers (Trailer, etc.)
Jeep handles bumbs with no problem. I've been towing trailers and cars with no problem
Tremendous improvement in ride. Despite the aggravation of getting the old ones off I'm glad I bought them. Well worth the effort.
Good quality. Installed with purchased factory size shackles, still get about an inch lift in the rear (not too visible). Ride quality is good.
Had these for a year now. Do no off-roading really and very standard use. My driver side leafs has already sagged and is about an inch lower than my passenger side. Go with higher quality leafs I wish I had. Very disappointed. Not a fun thing to re so every year.
