Reviews for AVS 194811 Window Deflector Ventvisor In-Channel in Smoke (4 Piece) Set for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited & Gladiator JT
As a wind and/or rain deflector, it performed just about OK. The thing is, you have a big hole of a window next to you so wind and rain will almost certainly come through anyway.
If the adhesive is borked for you as well, just use some double-sided tape and cut to fit.
The plastic material that they're using to vacuum seal the product was stuck to, and ripping up the protective strips as I removed the packaging. Although concerning at first those same adhesive strips turned out to hold place in the window channels just fine.
On the rear deflectors, the same adhesive strip section for both rear deflectors were placed on the wrong side of the product -- the deflectors were sticking to the window, instead of the channel. I peeled off the bad adhesive with a razor and the deflectors were still able to hold their locations except for when rolling up the window. In such case one was required to poke a finger through the window frame, push outward on the deflector, and then continue rolling up the window. Another minor inconvenience ultimately, but still a result of production/manufacturing failing to notice their error with the adhesive strips.
3 stars because it works, 2 stars off because you shouldn't pay this much for plastic and adhesive just for someone to get Most of the adhesive in the right locations.
The worse window deflectors, rear window received same side for both window and they all broke while rolling the window up not good wasted my moneyon it
I installed these and my front two windows will not roll up all the way... It said in description that it would fit my 2021 Jl Wrangler Unlimited. I am so disappointed! I have always installed guards on every vehicle that I have owned
They get two stars, only for the fact that I had these on my JK and they were fine. Now, on to the JL. First off, nearly all the protective film came off the tape removing the shrink wrap from the packaging. The dry fit seemed okay so I in inserted all into their respective channels, removing what was left of the protective film. The rear ones are okay. The front are garbage. Both front windows "catch" the guards when going up, shifting them in the channel and preventing the windows from closing all the way. After much adjusting, the windows still won't close and the passenger side guard cracked when trying to get the window too close. Look for a different brand for the JL
Shape fits the window frame, but won’t stick. Can’t close the window. Waste of money.
the front deflectors are great, the rear are absolutely junk. Don't even bother buying rear deflectors. The tape on rear deflector towards the back of the deflector itself (the rear tab) looks like its on the wrong side but it isn't. they want you to tape it to the outside of the vehicle. what happens when they cheap tape they use loses adhesion?? say goodbye deflector down the road. terrible design by LUND! Very disappointed, sad that Quadratec is even selling this junk.
i paid 80 dollars for something that don't work . i had to cut and use my own mount tape. tape is on the wrong side of the rear shields. the fronts rub going up all the time.
These showed up quickly, however most of the red protective cover on the tape was pulled off by the outer packaging. Now they won't stay on the vehicle.
Junk, flimsy would not stick, couldn’t get the window to close. Would not recommend.
They keep cracking on the ends
