Reviews for Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T Radial Tire
I ordered these tires from Quadratec in December of 2020. I’ve had them on my TJ for 2 years with around 9,000 miles on the set. 33x12.50x15 They still look new. These are by far the quietest mud tire, on the street, I’ve ever owned. I’ve had BFGs, Goodyear MTRs, and Dick Cepeks in the past. They do great on the light trails that I go down. I will definitely buy them again.
Best tires I have ever put on a Jeep. Rocks are brutal, and these tires are holding up great! Out of initial 5 tire purchase, one took over 12 ounces to balance. A call to Micky Thompson, and I had a new tire. My son now has a set on his CJ7, and on his 2017 Ram 3500 single rear pickup.
Aggressive tread pattern, mickey thompson quality.
Was on back order for some time.
Very pleased with price, quality, fit. Can't wait to hit the trails. :)
I did two different shipments and both came in and is exactly what my son was looking for.
I have been using the Goodyear M/T Kevlar, LT315 17R70 for years and have put an average of 70k miles on the set each time. But now I cannot find them, not from Quadratec, not from Goodyear, not from anywhere and they will not be available for at least 4 more months. So I looked for BF Goodrich, and a few others but could not find most of them in stock anywhere either.
So I finally had to settle on the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T which were significantly more expensive, but were at least in stock. These look good (I'll certainly say that), and they ride well. They are not as quiet as the Goodyear's when new. Whether they wear as well is yet to be determined. So I'll have to reserve a final opinion until I see how they hold up to daily driving and weekend excursions... if I think about it at 70k miles (or when I have to change again) I'll try and come back here and update the review.
