Love it!! We use it when we just don’t feel like putting the doors back on! Perfect for the beach!
great fit.
I bought this cover and it is hands down the best thing for rain storms (and price). I bought it for that reason alone and read a bunch about what I should buy on different sites before i bought this one. This is the 3 layer version and for $70 you can't beat it. There is the 5 layer version but you don't need that for pop up rain storm use (maybe more frequent use it'd be good, idk). I have the top down and doors off as much as possible. This is waterproof in my experience and it's hemmed with elastic so wind does nothing to move it once you put it on. It takes 3-4 minutes to put on and 4-5 to take off (assuming there is water on it that I want to shake off). As long as I can get to work w/o rain I'm good. Throw this on and if I need to stay late until it ends or leave a bit early before rains starts up again that's fine too w/ my job. The key to easy on / off is to stuff it in the bag rear first. Leave the quadratech logo tag at the top of the supplied storage bag. Put it on your hood with underneath of cover facing down of course, pull the bag off and move the back part of the cover toward the rear & over the windshield. There are mirror pockets which are key. Just put each mirror in the pocket and you can now pull the cover over the rest of the cab and over the spare. I pull it down over the bumpers. I have round aftermarket mirrors on my jku. The pockets hold the cover in place for you. I have a stubby antenna but there is a grommet kit in case you have the full length antenna. Water pools above the front seats due to gravity but it never leaks. If the water really bothers you, you can put something on the cross bar to keep it taunt but no need to do it. Just pull the cover to one side to get the water to roll off if it's there when you need to leave. I pull the cover off towards the back and stuff it into the cargo area if it's wet. Once the sun comes out I put it on the ground for 10 min to dry it and stuff it back into the bag...rear end first w quadratec logo tag sticking out at top of bag so I know which direction to put it on the hood next time.
I picked one up at Quadratec's "Jeeps N Java" for a "steal" and it was money well spent. I've used it many times. It offers great protection and the quality and fit are first rate.
Awesome cover. Fits perfectly over the jeep with the soft top down or up.
