Bought the Flag only but need a way to "mount it"

This works great with the stock spare tire carrier, with or without the Mopar tailgate reinforcement. The flag is adequate, but not up to high-speed driving. Get a quick-disconnect fitting and use the flag only on the trail. The flagpole has bent as needed (overhanging trees, etc.) and has one small tear in the white cover layer. It has not snapped back and hit the roof like a steel flagpole (like a CB antenna) would do. Some sand-hill parks may require the flag to be higher than achieved with this pole and mount. The dune buggies at Sand Hollow State Park (Utah) all had flags a foot or so higher, but no one challenged me on this rule.

This is essentially a mirrored version of their CB antenna mount. Hence, all design flaws and strengths here. Rock solid, invisible, doesn't interfere with any operations, but the pole fastener is hard to reach, when you have your spare tire mounted. This is not an issue for an antenna, but a flag is what you put on and off frequently.

Recieved and installed without issue. Can not test on trail without the X2O Smittybilt winch ordered two months ago thru Quadratec . Receive emails weekly from Quadratec with ship dates that come and go. Net result, no winch.
