What type of new carrier would you need if you have 3.73s?
An aftermarket locker like the Detroit Truetrac is offered for running higher gear ratio that what is available for the factory carrier set up. See the following link. Detroit True Trac Differential. Thanks for your inquiry.

I’m looking at the Yukon part # 52443-0606 with 4.56 gears. With d30 & d44 with 3.73 Detroit locks will this fit with out charging the carrier?
Current 3.73 gear ratios will require a new rear carrier only. Detroit Locker Dana 44 would be okay and allow the re-gearing package. Thanks for your inquiry.

If i purchase lockers for front and rear diffs 4.88 gears for my dana 30 front and dana 44 rear. Will i need new carrier? Or wil they come with lockers?
I wil just need to specify that i want dana 30 front with 3.73 up and dana 40 rear with 3.73 up?
If you are changing to a complete aftermarket locker, like a Detroit, and ARB air locker, or another selectable locker that is compatible with your chosen gear ratio, you would not also need a carrier. The changing to a different carrier, would retain or reuse the spider gears or differential gear set to keep your differential stock in it's function. Lunch box lockers would require a compatible carrier, but full lockers are going to also have the carrier for it's gear type. Thanks for your inquiry.

Good day.
I have a 2003 tj sport right hand drive.
I want to order 4.88 gear kits. But i will need to change axel break carrier. Are they supplied in the yukon kit. I have a dana 30 front and dana 44 rear.
Please Note: Jeeps currently with 3.07 & 3.54 gear ratio will require new carriers front and rear. Current 3.73 gear ratios will require a new rear carrier only. The carriers required are sold separately. Thanks for your inquiry.
