Reviews for Yukon Gear & Axle Front & Rear Ring and Pinion with Master Install kits for Jeep Wrangler YJ & Cherokee XJ with Dana 30 Front / Dana 35 Rear
Installed with a front, automatic Lok-Tite locker and a rear, manual cable OX locker. Enough parts to do the job correctly! Says China on the box, but seems very high quality. 1994 Wrangler, Dana 30/35C.
Honestly I'm new to Jeeps and had read that its a good way to go.
This your set worked on my 1987 Jeep Wrangler but I had to upgrade the front carrier to the following https://www.quadratec.com/p/yukon-gear-axle/standard-open-differential-case-dana-30-front-axle-373-and-numerically-higher-gear
The carrier I used in the rear was an Eaton true track Capable of handling 456 gears.

Have used Yukon products before with great results
I gave this 4 out of 5 stars because when the kit arrived the ring gear for the Dana 35 was not packed correctly from the factory. The ring gear was just tossed into its packaging with no oil bag over the ring gear which resulted in little rust dots all over the ring gear. I also did not receive any instructions or the Yukon Grizzly sticker that is normally packaged in every kit they sell. I called Quadratec and made the rep aware of my issue and he gave me a $50 dollar refund. I appreciate Quadratec taking care of me and making this right, Yukon is supposed to be an industry leader in gears & axles, this is not the only Yukon part I ordered, I have quality issues with other parts ordered as well.
