Reviews for Dana Spicer Dana 44 Differential Cover for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT
I love the quality, heft, and finish. The fins on the bottom are great skids that help slide up rocks...much better than just a flat flange design of comparable covers.
Looks great and was a very easy install. This cover seems to be a lot more solid than the factory covers.
Quality dif cover. Much better than stock. Feel better protected now
What's not to like my 2019 had rubber gaskets from the factory 1/2hr job
Tuff stuff nice style. Easy install my 2019 had rubber gaskets no silicone required
Excellent product, very thick and strong. I like how the fins protect the bolts.
Somewhat less expensive than the AEV version. The AEV product came out shortly after these arrived, so I sent these back and ordered the AEV covers. The Dana Spicer covers are heavy and solid. However, the bolt heads are all exposed, so the bottom ones could get damaged. The AEV covers are equally heavy and solid. The lower half of the edge is thicker and the bolt heads are recessed into this extra thickness, so that they won't get damaged by rocks, etc. In addition, they have a useful inspection port which is also a large fill port.

Appears to be a good product. Lightweight cardboard boxes unsuitable for shipping this heavy cast iron diff cover, resulting in cosmetic damage to blue paint.
Easy to install...however bolt broke while we put dif, must be cheap China’s..(torch was 22). Now I need to go to body shop to extract the bolt and pay money to reinstall front dif cover (it’s a mess). Rear one was fine. Yet, covers were sent in thin paper box so my rear cover diff is scratch...
