Reviews for Go Rhino 331200T Rockline Winch Ready Front Bumper for 07-21 Jeep Wrangler JL, JK & Gladiator JT
Hi, please send me a link for a bumper that looks awesome like this one but it is for flat towing, thank you
Happy looks good
This was an easy install for my 2018 jlu. I did have to drill out one of the holes a little to get one of the bolts to be able to go through, Other than that no issues and it looks great!
I love the new Bumper. I installed this product this past weekend and love the looks. It adds a whole new attitude to my Jeep JK. I do have a couple of tips. If you are not immediately mounting a winch, keep the factory frame cover intact and on the jeep. There is a bit of a gap between the bumper and the grill. Also, if you are installing LED light bars and cubes, there are mounting tabs on the inside of the bumper. You will need small spacers to mount the light pods at a good height. For the Center LED light bar, use a bar that has mounts under neath, not the mounts on the sides. Its way easier to line everything up and get it right, if you use the bottom mounts. I really like the looks and I hope this review helps the next customer out there.
Received bumper yesterday. On inspection found in perfect condition. It was well wrapped inside shipping box with rubber bumpers at corners. Installation was a breeze. Installed on new 2020 Gladiator Rubicon that we just picked up yesterday. Only had to drill out one hole on the existing bumper mounts, rest fit perfectly even though the instructions indicate that they all need to be drilled out to 1/2". Was very surprised to find that the factory steel front air dam/skid plate fit back into place perfectly with this bumper. I am submitting a few pictures of the installed bumper and skid plate. I still have to get new fog lights and off road lights to complete the install.
This bumper looks awesome. However, because of the way it's designed with the winch on the top of the bumper, it will bend the sheet metal that the winch is installed on when you put (apparently) too much weight on the winch. It just pulled and bent this section forward. Glad I noticed or it would have ripped the winch off of the front of my Jeep. There should be more reinforcement at the winch mounting point, in the form of welds, bolts, or something strong. Now it's in a dumpster....
Apparently N O T "winch Ready" . The product description fails to mention you need a separate winch mounting plate to install the winch and fairlead. The bumper itself is great and worth more stars, but that omission of the need for the extra part makes it not winch ready and a bummer when you get it and find that out. :-(
