Installation couldn't be easier ! I added some plastic spacers on the bottom so as to avoid any metal to metal contact.

Nice mount. Looks good. No rattling. Rubber bumper cord blew off, but nothing touches my paint so it wasn’t needed

I just think it's a little soft and could be stiffer once it's attached to the bumper...

plate mount is super tough - very well made - i was under the impression that this came with a mounting bracket to fit any wrangler jl-- there is no way to mount this to the frame or bumper -- without some other bracket which i cant find or didnt order .. this is why i gave 4 stars ---
! to my suprise i guess i did not read correct .
so what i did to make this work is i had to drill my new bumper and the plate housing and hard mount the bracket to the bumper with 2 nuts and screws, which in the end works very nice, holds tight, and looks awesome... i will get a photo once it stops raining

Well constructed and heavy duty item, there are, however, points for improvement a perspective buyer should note. There are no license plate lights which for the price and it being a DOT and I am sure State code is let down. The mounting hardware, bolts can be torqued to failure so please note. The rubber paint protection trim for rubbing against the body of the Jeep did not install well or stay on in many places (having Bushwacker Corner Guards compensated for this nicely). It can be mounted to none LoD license plates as I was able to briefly mount to a Rugged Ridge HD bumper (I elected to remove). I recommend as an alternative license mount option but careful consideration is needed for shortfalls previously stated. I purchased a Quadratec license plate light which has a factory connection end and still use, an ARB relocation (license plate) mount that won't be used, and ended up mounting with light using a custom technique I saw (basically drilling into the side of my Jeep's body).

I purchased this relocation bracket for my 2019 Aussie RHD JLU...thinking I would be able to modify it to relocate the plate, but alas, the Aussie plates are simply too wide to fit the bracket and hang too far outside the body leaving them susceptible to damage (and looking ugly). Good quality product, but mine is now a boat anchor. 1 star for Aussie Jeeps...would no doubt be a 5 star for US variants and the right sized plate it was made for.
