Great product. Rugged! As another review had mentioned, the box it was shipped in basically fell apart...but the product was wrapped/packed so well, not a scratch! The second side went quick..once I realized you need to drop that piece in the front frame, first.

really digging how these things look. they give the vehicle a pretty mean profile. i managed to do the installation myself. as other said, just lay parallel to the vehicle and use your legs to support the front end. installation instructions were not the best. there is a plate/spacer that is not mentioned. i found some comments on youtube, apparently this goes between the steps/frame where the it mounts in the front of the vehicle. also, make sure you put the two-piece nut plate into the frame before you hoist up the rails, as the mounting bracket will cover the hole that the plate slides into. the most difficult part of the install was getting the nut plate on the stick into place. i used the allen key to support the plate in order to get the bolt into place. hope that helps.

Very nice construction, well packed, not even a scratch on it. Heavy duty construction.

Quality construction. Fantastic style. Easy installation. These steps fit the look of our 2018 JL perfectly. They are the same tubular style as our bumpers and really complete the look. Install was super easy and took about 1 hour including removing the factory running boards. The only assistance I needed was setting them in place as they are awkward and relatively heavy. All hardware perfectly lines up and they are quite sturdy.

These side steps looks great, feels SOLID, and was easy to install. Packaging from Smittybilt was very good. Instructions are not the best but YouTube videos are more helpful. Used some existing nuts from removing the stock rocker panel for the side decorative plate. The front frame install to the ‘wired’ nuts is not too bad at all. Quadratec’s price was the best I found and they delivered quickly in six days.
