This tightened up my top, especially the rear. Wasn't tough to replace, either. Drilled out old rivets, removed end caps from the bows so the rivet bits would slide out, then used new pop rivets to mount the new straps.

This was the solution we’d been searching for ! Side windows wouldn’t stay in slots - always flapping in the wind. Didn’t realize that there should have been straps holding the rear frame crossbow forward. Easy to install ( hardest part was drilling out pop rivets ). Soft top fits like new.

One side had a broken strap so I thought I could get away with just changing that one. I was really surprised to see how far the other one had stretched. They went right on, there were screws included but I used pop rivets instead. They have really tightened the top back up.

Fit and worked as they should. Replaced the frayed ones when I replaced the worn out top.

Better price than Jeep dealer. Works as suppose to.

These make a world of difference if you need to rebuild your soft top hardware. My old straps had ripped out and my top was being held by parachute cord and the top itself. Installing these gave the top its correct shape, improved the waterproofing (no leaks!), and helped to tighten up the top and reduce road noise. Highly recommend if you are doing a soft top rebuild.

Bought these for a 99 TJ. They went on very easy. Liked the screws better than the original pop rivets
