The previous reviews helped greatly in getting things figured out. Yes there is extra hardware leftover so was a little confusing at first when organizing all the parts.
The extra bolts came in handy though. Once the first step was installed after about an hour , the second one went very quickly. Great product. Looks good. Very sturdy.

First of all, the order process was very easy, and I got the steps just three days after I input the order. Very fast service! The steps were very securely packaged, and were not dented, scratched or damaged in any way. As noted in one or two previous reviews, I got two sets of instructions, with one specifically for the 4" 1000 series steps that I ordered. All the required hardware was included, plus more I didn't need. I'm referring to twelve 1" 5/16" bolts that were not needed. This led to some confusion when it came to attaching the side step rails to the brackets. Although the instructions say those bolts are needed to attach the steps, they do not fit. However, another set of bolts were included that are tapered on the ends and they have the correct thread pattern to attach the steps. I think this should be clarified. As for the brackets, I note several previous reviews say the two rear brackets are slightly smaller than the front and center brackets. Thanks to those reviews, I was able to see the difference and had no problems. The steps look great and seem very sturdy.

Like the other reviews. The hardware is a bit confusing to spot the difference Between the front, middle, and rear braces. First side was ironing out the parts and hardware. Second side was a breeze. They look great!

THESE FIT THE 2020 GLADIATOR

Did some measuring and took a chance. These fit my 2020 Gladiator Sport. Easy to install, but they pack the brackets in 2 packs of 3 with the slightly shorter back brackets in one pack, not as a side set. Open all brackets and lay them out first. Because of this, it took about an hour for the first and 20 min for the second install. They are solid, fit great and look sharp.

Great side steps for my Black JL! The textured black side steps look amazing. I even thought of painting these gloss black before I received them but the textured black looked great after installation. I didn't have to sacrifice any clearance on my Jeep. These side steps are positioned just right. 5" side steps would have been too much for my personal preference. Wish the "I" and "J" brackets were labeled somehow. Would have saved me time from not mixing them up, but every last nut and bolt was included. Everything lined up exactly as it was supposed to with minor alignment. Very happy with the final result. I received multiple (4 copies) of instructions with slight differences. The instructions described using specific bolts, washers and nuts that were included to secure the side step to the mounting brackets. These bolts didn't fit into the sidestep bracket. There was a second set of bolts with the sidestep bracket that worked fine. This second set of bolts was not described in the instructions and did not have any locking washers or nuts. There was also a reference to an instructional video that was not at the link or anywhere I could find. Maybe you could give update instructions here?

These are great side steps. Relatively easy to install by yourself...it too me 2 hours. The only reason I knocked off a star is that the rear bracket is hard to identify. All the brackets have the same number. Two (the real brackets) are SLIGHTLY smaller, but that is not in the directions. Very happy overall though. The new Jeep now LOOKS like a Jeep...almost.
