So you have the Jeep top off and are ready to enjoy a beautiful warm day by also removing those metal doors. Open air driving at its finest. Or so you thought. You've taken off the torx nuts and now have pulled, pushed, and swung back and forth trying to get those doors off. Pretty much everything you thought you should do. And the things still won't budge.

Well, we've been there too as that factory door hinge pin bushing design really isn't the best. That's why we decided to do something about it and created new Delrin bushings to replace the factory ones - making future door removal quick and easy. A simple mod, but something you will definitely appreciate when it is time for those doors to come off.

So grab some penetrating oil, apply it to those stubborn factory door hinge pin bushings, and then read up on door removal and these Delrin bushings while the oil does its thing. You can also check out our video below on installing these replacement bushings as well.
