Possible OEM LED headlights, a better view of the raked-back windshield, and slightly wider and top-slanted grille slot openings.
These are all on display as new 2018 Wrangler JL photos emerged Thursday, giving us our best look yet at the newest generation Jeep.
The gallery of photos, posted over at JL Wrangler Forums are great shots of the vehicle undergoing ‘hot weather’ testing in Death Valley, California, and prominently display the Wrangler’s raked back windshield as well as the new front grille – which looks to have a more pronounced angle starting midway up the grille, as well as a seemingly slightly larger space between slots.
We also get a good shot of the vehicle’s new headlight design, which many predict will be an LED version.
The vehicle's larger front end remains in these photos, though it is unclear if this larger front will be exclusive to the JL 4-door, or will also appear on the 2-door JL as well.
In another shot, we get a good glimpse of the JL tailgate which looks mostly unchanged versus the JK version.
Jeep is on record that the JL Wrangler will officially debut in January 2017, with the company expecting showroom availability by summer 2017.
