For anyone still debating on grabbing a new Jeep Gladiator truck model, the brand recently rolled out a significant incentive to bring potential buyers into showrooms.
Jeep earlier this month announced it is taking 10 percent off Gladiator MSRP around the country, with some states seeing up to 15 percent off the vehicle price. The discount is also in addition to other offers, and many dealerships are choosing to push other deals as well on the truck. Jeep’s website indicates the price cut is through Oct. 2
Jeep launched the Gladiator in 2019 and it quickly soared on sales charts thanks to the brand’s rugged image, four-wheel capability and being the segment’s only truck with a removable roof and doors.
However, after enthusiasts snapped up the Gladiator in record numbers following its launch, dealership lots soon became swamped with all model editions of the truck. Jeep sold 13,751 Gladiators in the second quarter of 2023, about a 34 percent drop year over year, and lagging behind category leader Toyota’s Tacoma which sold 63,262 in the same period.
Additionally, Cars Direct estimates there are about 18,000 unsold Gladiators currently on the market.
Now, with the 2024 edition on the horizon that will feature a mid-cycle refresh, discounts on the current truck model could certainly jumpstart sales — especially for those looking for a reason to purchase a Gladiator.
Of course, once that truck is secured, the savings can be put to great use outfitting the Gladiator with all kinds of stuff like a lift kit, new tires and wheels, tonneau cover and LED lights, among other things. In fact, following its initial launch, that is what most new owners did as the vehicle quickly became the Jeep’s most accessorized model, with people spending $1000 on average shortly after purchase.
So here are some top product ideas for new Gladiator owners.
